Need a new striker at Old Trafford? Don't forget we already have Manucho
There's been lots of speculation (some of it from this blog, we admit) about the potential talent being lined up to join United.
Whether Cristiano Ronaldo leaves or not, United's priority is supposedly a new striker as Louis Saha's future at the club is uncertain and even if he does stay will no doubt endure more injury misery to make him not worth bothering with.
Once again today United have been linked with a potential swoop for Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov (like Groundhog Day all over again isn't it?)
But do United really need another striker? Has everyone forgotten about Manucho- United's Angolan signing who did so well at the African Cup of Nations?
He's been at Panathinaikos for the past few months while the Reds sort out a work permit - but all being well could be ready for selection by the start of the new season.
Could Manucho be United's new striking option for the coming season or should they still be on the lookout for another forward like France's Karim Benzema?
